The Heart Behind The Art:

I’m a big fan of doodling during church, it’s a way for me to explore different expressions of worship. One Sunday, I brought my oil pastels and doodled during the message. That’s how the design for April came to me. I had no plan, just started drawing. Green lines revealed some leaves. Then, I swirled in my favorite color, purple. At first, it looked like the deliciously smelling Texas Mountain Laurels in bloom. Dark blues and pinks followed, and eventually, it turned out to be a bunch of grapes! (Damion thinks they look like a map of the world! What do you think?)

The phrase “Authority Through Jesus” came to me at the end of the service. Pastor Keith Peeler spoke of the power we hold as believers – the authority to cast out demons, command healing, and speak life into everyone we meet. Pastor Keith Peeler closed the service with a prayer, saying, “Some of you are getting delivered today and you don’t even know it.” As we were praying, I suddenly felt the tension in my jaw release and a puff of air come out of my mouth. He was right. I got delivered from something and I didn’t even know I needed it.

If you’re going through something hard and feel defeated by it, I hope this sticker reminds you of the authority you have in Jesus to command the enemy to go.
